Matti's Favorite Films of 2018 10. Mission Impossible: Fallout  Directed by Christopher McQuarrie It's been awhile since I've really loved an action movie. I'd like to personally thank God for allowing Rebecca Ferguson to reprise her role as Ilsa Faust.  9. Crazy Rich Asians  Directed by Jon M. Chu The cutesy, quirky, satisfyingly original romcom masterpiece I've been waiting for. It only took about a decade.  8. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse  Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, & Rodney Rothman In a world of never ending sequels and tired reboots, this film is a breath of fresh air. So completely original, and hopefully the inspiration for future movies of its kind. 7. Lean On Pete  Directed by Andrew Haigh I saw this last spring in Florida and it just really stuck with me. One of the most underrated, real, and moving films of the year. Watch out for Charlie Plummer. 6. Eighth

Adrian's Favorite Films of 2018 10. You Were Never Really Here  Directed by Lynne Ramsay Phoenix can do no wrong.  9. Isle Of Dogs Directed by Wes Anderson  Consists of one of the best scores of the year and the best animation of 2018. Great year in animated films.  8. First Man  Directed by Damien Chazelle  A bio piece done right. Chazelle is on a roll.  7. The Ballad of Buster Scruggs Directed by Joel and Ethan Coen  Coen's add another heater to their impeccable filmography.      6. Mandy Directed by Panos Cosmatos OKAYYYYY. UMMMM. 5. Shirkers Directed by Sandi Tan  Best doc I've seen in a while. Addicting.  4. Hereditary  Directed by Ari Aster  This one blew me away. Hope you're not sympathetic and weak stomached!   3. Upgrade  Directed by Leigh Whannell Almost too cool for it's own good. The camerawork on this deserves so much more attention.  2. Eighth Grade  Directed by Bo Burnham
