Adrian's Top Films of 2019 What a year. This was, in my opinion, the best year for movies in my few years of being an overly eager cinephile. Spent way too much on blu rays this year. Adrian's Favorite Films of 2018 10. You Were Never Really Here  Directed by Lynne Ramsay Phoenix can do no wrong.  9. Isle Of Dogs Directed by Wes Anderson  Consists of one of the best scores of the year and the best animation of 2018. Great year in animated films.  8. First Man  Directed by Damien Chazelle  A bio piece done right. Chazelle is on a roll.  7. The Ballad of Buster Scruggs Directed by Joel and Ethan Coen  Coen's add another heater to their impeccable filmography.      6. Mandy Directed by Panos Cosmatos OKAYYYYY. UMMMM. 5. Shirkers Directed by Sandi Tan  Best doc I've seen in a while. Addicting.  4. Hereditary  Directed by Ari Aster  This one blew me away. Hope you're not sympathetic and weak stomached!   3.
