Adrian's Favorite Films of 2021

Alright, let's do this again. Favorites of 2021 this time.  20. Old   This reminded me of my great grandma watching The Young and the Restless,  but not in like the nostalgic way... more so of the "wow this is kind of so bad its good and i cant take my eyes away... what a mess" - kind of way.  19. Spider-Man: No Way Home I probably did not like this as much as you did. The CGI took me out of it quite a bit. Too much. Too obvious. My biggest issue with this movie is definitely what I think should be considered the lazy sets of the movie. The final fight at the the Statue of Liberty (which is under construction) is honestly probably one of the most boring and cliche ways this setting could have gone. Extremely safe. Equally boring. This is in critique of the people making these decisions not the VFX team, who, I am sure do other amazing work. Just overall too safe for it's own good.  18. Bad Trip  This movie makes you realize that Lil Rel Howery kind of looks like Han

Adrian's Favorite Films of 2020

Adrian's Favorite Films of 2020 Yes I am making this list over a year out of when I should be making it. I regrettably let myself go from analyzing and writing about films for almost 2 years. My personal life just didn't allow for it. Now I am back at a point where I intend  to do more writing about films I watch. So let's start again with films i watched from 2020. We'll do 20 of them.  20. Mugen Train Had a ton of fun watching this in the theater. The final third of the movie is actually quite fantastic. However, the main body of this film pales in comparison to the final act. Unfortunately that's one of the most memorable parts - that you forget most of this movie. Great third act though. Lot's of fun. Don't need to watch again.  19. Nomadland A lot of people loved this. It's a beautiful looking film. Frances McDormand is one of the best living actresses and her performance is masterful. For me, I actually got bored in the theater.. which happens so

Adrian's Favorite Films of 2019

Adrian's Top Films of 2019 What a year. This was, in my opinion, the best year for movies in my few years of being an overly eager cinephile. Spent way too much on blu rays this year. Worth it, regardless.  20. High Life One of the oddest films I saw in 2019. Shot pretty like how Rob P. exists naturally. A great addition to the recent pull of interesting space themed films. If you are looking for something horny and unique I present to you this.  19.  Avengers: Endgame I thought this was a great conclusion to the epic phase of this franchise. Cannot downplay how much of a great villain that Thanos is. Truly a great on screen characterization of an unstoppable force. Love overweight Thor as well. I cannot lie, "I love you 3000." got me. RIP Tony.  18. The Souvenir Okay yes, I can see why people find this boring and i cannot blame them for having that opinion. The reason this film made my list is because of how much I despised this relationship and
